#vmadventure Less is more Travelling a life lesson

Yes it is an old and maybe easy sentence but for me it's timeless. Many people have maked career with this theory in Art,Architecture and also in living. Maybe we think see, want and hear to much now a day's. But you need to ask yourself do I realy need all those things.

What is realy important for you to take with you on a trip ?

20 September, 2014 Goes (Holland)

It started with my travelling at 20 September. A couple of months ago
I met other traveller/cyclists Travis a Australian and Catahoir a Irish guy.
They where looking at my luggage with the question what you gonna do this trip.
I looked at there luggage like, wow you got allot of nothing with you.
When we talk about luggage and cycling than we talk about weight.
For me it was at the back 30 kg of luggage and 7 at the front.
I was riding with it like it was nothing. Later on my trip Travis asked me in a mail
what I throwed away of my luggage, I told him nothing.
On the rest of my trip I saw what is realy important in life, healty food, comfortable
clothes and a place to stay. So I throwed some clothes and useless products away (I guess 1 kilo).
It gives me more space and that make it easier to organise.

Less is more

I found out less is making me more happy, more  is stressing me up.
It's not a must for me to see al those churches, musea, tourist atractions etc.
It's about your own experience and for me that is enjoy the nature and
talking with the locals seeing how they make a living. You can learn allot from
other people with different cultures.
Sometimes I spended my day with starting a fitnessworkout
at the beach and in the afternoon learning my Spanish in a local bar.
I don't miss public transport ore driving a car, having a home ore a big flatscreentv.
Life is good when you go away with only a bicycle and some luggage.

What the #%!@* is going on this world ?

About what is going on in this world ?
Allot of travellers living in a paradise, they don't reading the newspapers and have
no time to watch the news channels. So it looks sometimes you live
in a world without problems with many positivity. But they like to talk about
life, play guitar ore just reading a book (peace man), sounds like those hippies
from bag in the day's. Less social media and more social conversations.
I met more creators and less followers. I met more people they doing the things
they alway's wanted than that I met people they just think about it.

What is a comfortable place ?

Under the olive trees in Andalusia

The places I stayed where campings, pensions, hostel and wildcamp spots.
In the low seasons you can have in Portugal a hotel room with sea view
for just 15 euro. But a good cheap hostel is for me the best. Ive been in
good quality hotels with luxery and payed a lowerprice than normal.
No hotels are not my place I feel like a bird in a to small cage. Maybe it get's
more intresting when you found that other bird.
Wildcamping can be a good thing but prepare your self for the cold.
Don't buy that compact lightweight sleeping bag and think you save the nigth with
extra layers of clothes. That was my cold learning experience.

The beauty about al those different people

I talked with allot of different people (sporters, musicians, artists, sailers,
buisnessman's,models, locals,farmers,junks,students...) They all think different
but they all create there way of living. We are al different and that's a beautifull thing
if we have respect for that..
Living is nice when you create new experiences, it opens your mind and you will
see more and more what are te important things in life.

Before this trip people told me I looked sometimes to much things from the
positive sight. I think there is nothing changed.

If you realy know what is important for you, than you are not thinking
in problems but you start to create solutions.
